- Fill out a volunteer form, and get waiver form and release signed by your parents.
- Go to our website, www.onestopmicronesia.org, to learn more about our program and upcoming events.
- Plan and submit an activity/lesson that you want to share with participants. Specify what age group you would like to work with and how long the activity/lesson will be. Not sure what kind of activity/lesson to plan? Contact us for information about previous activities that have been done, tips and any other questions. All activities/lessons must be approved by the Micronesian Resource Center team before being executed.
- You will engage youth based on your planned activity/lesson, promoting fun and enriching activities that address living a healthy and positive lifestyle.

In order to earn service learning hours, a reflection must be submitted at least a week after activities have been completed. The reflection should address: What did you do? What did you learn? How was this a service to the community? How do you think you made a difference in the community?
- To encourage Physical activities and offer positive alternatives to participants. EXAMPLE(S): Create and guide children through various sports and activities.
- Teach the importance of environmental stewardship by having participants clean up sites after activity, while encouraging recycling.
- Promoting cultural awareness by engaging participation amongst children from various ethnic backgrounds.
