Earn service learning hours while attending Day 2 of the Rotaract Youth Leadership Conference on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Day 2 of the conference will focus on applying you’ve learned from Day 1 into community service activities and networking opportunities

Preparation Instruction:
Register for Day 2 of the Rotaract Youth Leadership Conference 2018 with your school counselor or advisor. In order to attend Day 2, you MUST attend the first day of the conference on Friday, September 14, 2018.

Activity Instruction:
Actively participate in various community service activities we have planned for you, such as:
- Island Girl Power Carnival
- Tree-planting
- Beach clean-up
- Mural painting
After the conference, create a slideshow, flyer, film, or brochure to teach your peers something important or worthwhile that stood out to you. Share in appropriate ways: social media, classroom presentations, emails, etc.

Reflection Instruction:

In order to earn service learning hours, a reflection needs to be turned in to a teacher who can input the hours into Power School. You need to address: What did you do? What did you learn? How was this an example of public service?

Learning Standards/Objectives:
