    Celebrate a great book from your childhood with young readers at your public library. Volunteer there. Create an event  that supports the children’s section of your public library. For example support an annual Dr. Seuss celebration for the kids in the village at the local library. OR create an event that honors Pippi Longstocking or Harry Potter or....

    Humanitarian non-profit organization needs research on a variety of projects on Guam and throughout Micronesia for grant funding proposals. Make a difference and support research on grants that improve the quality of life for Pacific Islanders.

    One person's trash is another person's treasure! This is the fun of a thrift store and you can be a part of it. Learn the value or recycling and reducing trash that is sent to the landfill. There is so much to do here, and so much to learn!

    Do you love books and reading? If you would like to share your love of books and reading with young children that may not have access to books of their own, here is a service learning project you were meant to do!

    Manna Fellowship Tutoring Assistants

    Tutoring classes are being held at the Island Girl Power facility by the Manna Fellowship pastor and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Kyung, for students in need of this service. In order to work on this project, you will need to be approved by the pastor and his wife.

    Island Girl Power Mentor

    The Island Girl Power Clubhouses in Dededo and Malesso could use the help of high school girls to be teachers and mentors to the clubhouse members, ages 7 to 14.  Island Girl Power is a local prevention program focusing on offering positive activities and role models to young girls and their families. Come and be part of the IGP experience!

    ProStart Cooking and Nutrition Classes at Island Girl Power

    If you are a ProStart student at any of the the designated high schools, you have an opportunity to earn service learning hours by applying the skills you are acquiring in this program. You will teach a cooking and nutrition class at the Island Girl Power Clubhouse.

    Peer Support at JFKHS

    If you are interested in teaching or helping students who have disabilities, Mrs. San Nicholas at JFKHS is providing this service learning opportunity to give these special students support.

    Seed to Table Horticulture

    Growing vegetables from seed and sharing your produce with others is a valuable learning experience. If you are students in Mr. Binondo's class at Okkodo, you will be given an opportunity to participate in this project.
